Food Aid
Mouthly food packages are provided to a hundred families in need, to meet their basic needs. This assistance is both regular and long term. During the holy month of Ramadan, 5OO families are provided with food. Since the terrible earthquake disaster in August 1999, the Foundation has also been providing food aid for those in need in the area.

Medical Aid
Medication and equipment are given to the health centres and schools established by our Foundation, as well as to individuals in times of need.

Aid for Orphans and for People in Need
For the marriage of girls who are orphaned or who are in need, help is given in the form of presents for their new home (ceyiz). These people are either referred to our Foundation by the orphanage, or people may apply in person. Upon identifying their need, aid is provided for their wedding, their houses are furnished and the expenses of the wedding night and pre-wedding celebrations are paid for.

Each year circumcision ceremonies are arranged for sons of poor families. The first ceremony took place in July 1991.

Natural Disaster Relief
In the second half of 1999, earthquakes shook Anatolia and made the world grieve, especially on 17th August and 12th November. The Foundation has provided help, sending trucks of food, clothing, cleaning materials and other basic necessities. Our Foundation has also made cash donations. Our Foundation is ever ready to take on social responsibilities to ensure our nation never has to relieve such a traumatic period.
