Sema Yazar Youth Foundation

Was established in 1990 in memory of Sema Yazar, by her father, Mehmet Yazar, her mother, Kubra Yazar and her sister Yasemin Yazar, to provide services to the young people of Turkey.

To realise its aims, the Foundation provides scholarships to students continuing in higher education both in Turkey and abroad. It sponsors various educational activities, builds schools, organises competitions in areas of culture, art and sports, in which successful participants are rewarded. Furthermore, orphans and young people in need are provided with support.

In the area of health services, it also provides services to the general public by building hospitals and health centres. The aims also provide for participation in other activities.
